What’s the story behind Leadership Lab?
There’s a lot of content, services, and trainings out there to help individuals grow, but many lack the relevance and practicality needed to successfully apply [them] in real-life.
I developed the Leadership Lab to provide driven professionals with the most curated, vetted, and proven career development resources, leveraging my personal experience leading high-performing retail, program, and product teams at Amazon and the Gap. My approach is rooted in cutting the fluff and providing practical, easy-to-implement ways to apply learning to see noticeable results in your career development.
What Are You Most Proud Of?
Being in the corporate world for 17 years, it felt like a big jump to start my own business! But I am most proud of believing in myself, taking calculated risks, and staying true to who I am. These are valuable lessons that drive my approach to career development and clarity.
Do you have any recommendations or tips for visitors?
Your career path is yours. Sometimes we just have to get out of our head and talk to someone else or write things down for perspective. If you are struggling to figure out your next step, you are not alone! Just know that any next step you take will be a learning lesson and get you closer to what is right for you.
What do you like best about your community?
The AAPI community has reaffirmed that you can be your whole, true self and be successful and happy. The celebration and welcoming of that lifts people up and allows them to believe in themselves as they are. That is a big deal in professional development!
