Help! I want to be in the Asian Aunty Brigade, but I don’t identify as an Asian aunty. 
Not female, over 40, and/or Asian? No problem! Anyone can be in the ASIAN AUNTY BRIGADE! Whether you’re male, nonbinary, young or young-ish, and/or non-Asian, you’re welcome to join the ASIAN AUNTY BRIGADE as an Honorary Asian Aunty or an Asian Aunty in Training.
Do I need to RSVP in advance or can I just come last-minute?
Please RSVP in advance if you’re able so we know how much food to order! Asian aunties can’t stand either running out of food or wasting food. (But Asian aunties also love you and want you to come last-minute if you need to.)
What if I can’t join all the sessions?
That’s ok! Please join us for however many you can. Virtual make-ups will be available for some of the content. And feel free to mix daytime and evening sessions to suit your schedule.
I’m interested in learning, but am not sure how I feel about joining in rallies, protests, or other actions at this point. Should I come?
Yes, absolutely! No commitment to participating in future actions with us is required. Please join us to learn and build community, one day at a time.
Is this a joke?
No. Well, maybe a little bit, but this is a serious way of leveraging the incredible talent in our community in a way that pokes at stereotypes, nurtures community, and feeds our joy.
