Our family-friendly celebration returns to the Montclair Art Museum to usher in the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom and strength. Join us for an afternoon of cultural performances (including K-pop dancers, Japanese and Korean drummers, Wushu performers, and the ever-impressive face changer), local Asian food, kid-friendly crafts, and a vibrant vendor marketplace.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your loved ones to this joyous festival as we come together as a community and greet the new year!
Individuals: $8
Families (limit to 5 attendees per family): $28
Children under the age of 5 are admitted free.
Limited fee waivers available for anyone with financial need.

Want to help us bring this magical event to life? Sign up to be a volunteer! Decorate the grounds, help with crafts, staff a registration table, or assist our community performers. You can pitch in for an hour or two before the event or bounce from task to task throughout the afternoon—we can’t do this without you!
Help us brighten our streets and spread wishes for happiness, luck, and prosperity as we partner with Montclair Center BID to light up downtown Montclair with vibrant Lunar New Year banners. You and your family can be part of this festive tribute that will mark the start of celebrations in town.
