Lewis Voter Empowerment Act, a state voting rights act, would strengthen the voting rights protections that are being eroded in federal courts and expand language access at the polls for AAPI and other communities–but we need your help to make sure our legislators understand this matters to their constituents. On Tuesday, October 21 from 12:00-12:30pm, please join us for a briefing on how the bill would protect voting rights in New Jersey and where it stands now. After the briefing, we’ll look up and call our state legislators, and compare notes afterward.
