Join AAPI New Jersey to learn about the heightened political climate of protesting and its impact on our rights. We will learn about our right to protest and what to do if you encounter law enforcement or ICE. We will also learn about community safety in the context of protesting and what safety marshalls are. Additionally, we will learn about strategies to intervene in the event that harassment, hecklers, or counterprotestors are present at a mobilization. Lastly, we will practice with realistic scenarios that you may encounter while protesting.
