As our civil rights and most vulnerable communities come under attack from forces hostile to multiracial democracy, this moment is crying out for those of us who are able to stand up and make our voices heard. It calls out for people who are willing to stand up for their families and communities, who march to the beats of their own drums. It calls out for:

Equip yourself with all the tools you need to participate in future actions, while getting to know other determined community members. Over four sessions, we’ll discuss the values we’re standing up for in this moment, practice the Korean protest drumming tradition of pungmul with Eunhee Ahn of Choomnoori, learn how to practice situational awareness and de-escalate situations, and more!
Choose daytime or evening sessions to suit your schedule. A tasty Asian meal will be served at each training. All sessions will be held at our office in downtown Montclair (address provided to registrants).
