Join Asian American leaders from across New Jersey as we build our advocacy muscles, attend a Senate or Assembly Session, and make our voices heard! If you are new to advocacy, we will offer a virtual training session the week prior so you know what to expect (see below). Public school students grade 6-12 are granted one state-excused absence to participate in civics education opportunities. If you’d like to request a form for your student, please reach out to advocacy@aapinewjersey.org.

Virtual Training Session – May 16, 1pm
This training is great for beginners and will be a helpful refresher for those with more experience. During the training, we’ll cover: AAPI New Jersey’s legislative and budget priorities, NJ Legislative process 101, Lobbying 101, and what to expect on May 22. Register for the training session
