Jasmine Wang (moderator) is a second generation Chinese American filmmaker and Co-Founder & Executive Producer of award-winning media film and production studio Incurrent Media. Prior to landing in film and media, Jasmine produced large-scale live events for over a decade including the Governors Ball, Frieze Art Fair, Rock the Bells, The NYC Marathon, and many more.
Nancy Li is a New Jersey Contract Organizer for SEIU/Committee of Interns & Residents labor union representing over a thousand Rutgers residents and fellow doctors. She has experience working on political campaigns as well as in state government, in addition to many years of political, community, and labor organizing experience.
Beein Gim is a seven-time Emmy winner and recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Journalism Award. Most recently, Gim served as Co-Executive Producer of the hit CNN series, “See It Loud: The History of Black Television,” with Executive Producer LeBron James. She began her journalism career at The New York Times and has worked as a journalist, director, and showrunner.
Rishab Gupta earned his degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in India. After working for a telecommunications operator in India, he came to the U.S. and earned his MS in Embedded Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Bloomberg in 2017 as a Machine Learning engineer where he works on building recommendation systems and performing user behavioral modeling.
Linda Liu is a non-profit consultant with a passion for education and entrepreneurship. She currently advises nonprofits and companies focused on social impact and co-founded a startup to help young women build the skills and professional networks they need to launch and accelerate their careers. Linda started her career as a management consultant and has held leadership positions at College Board and the Council on International Educational Exchange.
Ishita Rapino is the Global Brand Director for The Ritz-Carlton and Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotel brands. She is responsible for the guest experience across ~120 hotels globally. Prior to this role, Ishita worked at American Express and worked on the launch of Global Entry and The Centurion Lounge network for Platinum and Centurion (“The Black Card”) products.
Myra Deshmukh has over 16 years of retail experience in marketing, content strategy, and product launches. She started her retail career at the Gap in buying and product development, bringing the Gap brands to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and now leads learning and development for corporate employees in Amazon’s grocery space.
Dr. Chris Clemons is a psychologist licensed in both NJ and NY. She has over a decade of experience specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma/trauma-related disorders. She provides compassionate care to support multi-culturally diverse individuals and follows a psychodynamic/relational approach that emphasizes the power of interpersonal relationships.
Susan Shin Andersen is Montclair’s Deputy Mayor and a Councilor-At-Large. Susan earned her law degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark and has long dedicated her life to volunteer service, community empowerment, and coalition building. She previously worked for the Legal Aid Society Civil Division assisting clients facing eviction and is currently a research policy manager working on policy and process management, development, and implementation.
