We plan to proceed with the Lunar New Year Parade and Party. We’re excited to welcome you for the festivities but encourage everyone to prioritize safety, as it is our top concern.
Due to weather-related concerns for our guests, volunteers, and staff, we will conclude the celebration at 2:00 PM, earlier than originally planned, to allow everyone to travel home safely after the performances.
PARKING
The parking lot at The HUB will be closed during the event. Please plan to park at the Midtown Parking Deck or Crescent Deck (Lot 29) off Church Street. There will be no on-street parking available.

Lunar New Year is celebrated by billions of people worldwide and holds deep significance as a time for family reunions, shared meals, and cultural traditions. In 2026, we welcome the Year of the Horse, symbolizing strength, independence, perseverance, and freedom.
Join our vibrant celebration for a community-led dragon parade through Downtown Montclair. The parade is open to all and free to attend—just join us at S. Park St. & Bloomfield Ave.
Following the parade, we will gather for our Lunar New Year Party, featuring lion dance, arts and crafts, cultural and youth performances, and food trucks. Capacity is limited so advance registration is required (link below). Walk-ins may not be available.
