Lunar New Year is celebrated by billions of people worldwide and holds deep significance as a time for family reunions, shared meals, and cultural traditions. In 2026, we welcome the Year of the Horse, symbolizing strength, independence, perseverance, and freedom.
Join us for a family-friendly Lunar New Year banquet at Hunan Taste Denville, featuring a delicious 10-course meal and an exciting Guzheng performance. There will also be opportunities to learn more about the change we’re trying to make for Asian American families in New Jersey and how you can join our education, advocacy, and community-building efforts in 2026!
Tickets are inclusive of a 10-course meal, tax, and gratuity, at a rate subsidized by the generosity of AAPI NJ’s donors. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. Enjoy a family-style Chinese-inspired meal featuring appetizers like barbecue beef sticks, scallop medallions, soup dumplings, and shrimp spring rolls, followed by a tofu and seafood soup.
Main dishes include Peking Duck, Lobster with Ginger Scallion sauce, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Filet Mignon Chinese Style, and Flounder Dragon, along with Vegetable Lo Mein, Bok Choy with Black Mushrooms, and House Special Fried Rice. The meal ends with a fresh mixed fruit platter.
