Please say hello to AAPI New Jersey! We’re stepping up into this name to better reflect the statewide reach of the work you’ve all helped supercharge. Whether we’re supporting public schools in teaching Asian American history, speaking up for our rights in Trenton, or engaging AAPIs in building a stronger, more inclusive democracy, our aim is to serve not just some, but all of New Jersey’s 1+ million strong AAPI community.

We are so grateful for the love and commitment that everyone has given to us as AAPI Montclair. Nothing about our Montclair-based events and programs is going to change, and you will still see AAPI Montclair’s name on local work. But as we’ve grown, we’ve realized our impact increasingly extends far beyond Montclair’s borders.

Our new logo, designed by Communications Director Iris Shih, is composed of gingko leaves and candle flames arranged in a radial pattern, reminiscent of a rangoli design. A violet, New Jersey’s state flower, is visible in the negative space. We think it’s the perfect representation of our new name. Please keep following us here for info on our state and local work, and expect to see other branding changes rolling out over the next few months.
